Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter

Hi again... I just bought a Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter. I have to say it was much easier to put together than I expected. I did need help getting it secured to the house but that only took my husband a few minutes to do. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The entire project took me maybe 15 minutes start to finish. While filling the unit up with soil I asked for help to hold it up because my hand was getting tired and I couldn't have the tomato plant hit the ground. However, if no one was around to help me, I'm more than positive I could have done it alone and achieved the same beautiful result. Now it's hung, watered and we are just waiting to see how it grows and produces. I will let you know it's progress....

Happy Summer Planting

Well it's been almost a week since I planted my Topsy Turvy Tomato and for the first few days the poor little plant did go through some shock, but not much!! He is looking very healthy and happy now and I will post as he grows and hopefully produces. :)

Nike Comfort Footbed Shoes

Today I have to tell you about a new pair of Nike Comfort Footbed flip flops I had to have! I bought them just before vacation to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Seaworld and the Zoo...so with that being said it was going to be a massive amount of walking. These shoes are amazing, first off they have a memory foam bottom....my feet love this. Secondly, they were so comfortable to wear all day, everyday for 7 full days of walking. To be exact I walked over 46 miles in them!!!! No blisters, no tender spots...NONE. Oh, and they come in several smokin hot colors for summer!!

One small con I should add, I tried on my normal size 7 and found they were snug so I purchased a size 8 that fit wonderful in the store....but they did stretch out a bit so if you plan on buying these great shoes go with the snug ones and they are sure to be perfect!

Hamilton Beach Brew Station Coffee Machine

So.... here is my first attempt at a review. Since I'm a working mom and wife I look for anything that will make my life run smooth and simple. So with that being said.... I get up earlier than the rest of my family and am out the door before the sun rises. My mornings would not run as smooth if it was not for my Hamilton Beach Brew Station coffee pot. Not only can I prepare my coffee the night before but I can set it to come on before my alarm goes off the next morning. Another huge bonus for me is that it turns itself off in two hours if not done so manually. This feature is a MUST in my home since I work 35 minutes from home, I feel secure not turning around to come home and check to make sure it's off. Plus this feature makes it easier for my husband to also get up to a hot cup of coffee after I'm long gone for the day. So it actually meets duel needs, both of us get up to a hot cup off coffee with little to no hassle.

Pros: Easy to clean, pre-programing feature and auto shut off timer are huge positives in my opinion as well as how long it has lasted us...we bought this coffee pot in 2007 and it's still working like a charm!! I also like how you poor one cup at a time rather than having an additional coffee pot to clean each day.

Cons: Nothing negative to report at this time.

Hope I did ok for my very first review!! Let me know how I can improve if you see anything.... :)

Thanks,
Jolene
